Visual Stimulation Cards for Newborns and Infants
Summer Stories Visual Stimulation Cards include a total of 60 double-sided cards. These cards will introduce your baby to shapes, patterns, numbers, modes of transport, sports items, food, parts of the body, nature, things at school and home, animals and sea creatures, baby items, music instruments, and much more. The cards are divided into 3 categories - 0 to 4 months, 4 to 8 months, and 8 to 24 months. Each category has 20 cards, making it a pack of 60 cards. Set 1: 0 to 4 months. Black and white high contrast cards improve visual stimulation. Set 2: 4 to 8 months. Black, and white with basic colours, these cards enhance the perception of colours and shapes Set 3: 8 to 24 months. Colourful objects on the cards help a baby to recognize objects in their daily life.
VISUAL STIMULATION: The cards are divided into 3 smaller packs for age groups 0 to 4 months, 4 to 8 months and 8 to 36 months. A newborn has blurred vision and can only recognise high contrasting black and white images. As the baby grows these cards can be used as a learning aid to introduce new concepts into their daily life.
HOW TO USE: Use these cards by showing them to the baby at a distance of 2 to 3 feet and changing the card after 10-15 seconds. Alternatively, place it flat in front of the baby during tummy time.
